“ Stopped in randomly for lunch one day and glad I did. Ordered 2 asada tacos and a bean and cheese burrito with sour cream. The tacos were on golden corn tortillas and were bomb but the burrito was fire!!! They had salsa bottles in the fridge so I grabbed the green one and grubbed. Service was fast and I made it in and out in maybe 15 minutes. The restaurant is kinda small with a couple tables but Im sure they get busy. Nice little spot!! ”

Carmen is just amazing! She did such a great job she exceeded what I was looking for the taste on my cake was to die for I had gotten vallnilla with strawberry and cream filling chocolate with vanilla cream and red velvet with cream cheese filling. “ La Playita is a bustling little market! One side is a grocery and take out counter and the other side is the panaderia and carniceria. I managed to find everything I was looking for (pan dulce mainly) but ended up grabbing some kalbi style beef ribs and limes. They also have masa, corn husks for tamales, and every tortilla under the sun :) Nothing like sweatpants, a good book, and hot coffee with tamales to welcome December! Tony was super helpful as it was my 1st visit. So friendly and with a smile, and he helped this gal get everything she needed. I failed to get the gentleman's name at the register, but he too was friendly and patient with me. There is street parking but if full, make a turn and park out back. Thank you so much for the hospitality and the service La Playita, I'll be back! ”
